This film was originally three separate films that have now been combined into one longer piece. It’s pretty interesting…as separate films they were marginally successful. As a combined group, “Home: A Portrait of New York City” has found it’s way into competition at Annecy, Anima Mundi and even won an award for “Best Animation” at the 60 Seconds or Less Video Festival in Maryland. Amazing how changing the resonance of something can completely alter the course of it’s success.
